ICA demands land use reform as insured cat bill doubles in 2011
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has called on the government to improve land use planning and building codes, as its latest figures show that the country’s insured catastrophe bill for the year will come in at A$4.3bn (US$4.35bn), double last year’s total.
