Flood insurance claims now over A$1.2bn
THE non-life sector in Australia has now received 31,300 claims totalling more than A$1.2bn (US$1.19bn) as a result of floods in regional Queensland, the Lockyer Valley, Toowoomba and Brisbane, according to the Insurance Council of Australia in a statement issued today.
