Bailed out US firms adjust pay deals
AIG and other US financial firms that have received bailout assistance from the US Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Programme (TARP) have been drawing up new employment contracts that would enable them to void the deals in the event the government’s so-called “pay czar” objects to the compensation packages, Reuters has reported.
